The Green Hope baseball team had a successful 2009 season, finishing 20-6 and winning the Tri-8 Championship for the 4th time in 8 years. The team will graduate 6 seniors, but it hopes for much success next spring as well. The team also won the Tri-8 Conference Championship in 2005 (19-8), 2004 (18-7) and in 2002 (22-3), and the team finished with a 20-6 record in 2003 (2nd in Tri-8). Coach Michael Miragliuolo finished his 8th year coaching the Varsity Falcons this spring (143-63 record, 159-67 overall). Coach Mike George finished his 2nd season as the Falcons JV coach, while Coach Marty Weiss completed his 6th year on the staff as a Varsity Assistant Coach/Pitching Coach, Coach Nick Miller his 1st year, and Coach Ben Misenheimer his 1st year as well. |
